LEE Directors Engage in Productive Networking at the University of Glasgow

Laboratory Director Vojtěch Kotrba and Vice Dean for International Relations Helena Chytil recently spent a week at the University of Glasgow for a highly productive networking visit. During their stay, they met with numerous distinguished academics, shared insights into ongoing research and, most importantly, explored exciting possibilities for future collaboration.

The University of Glasgow has a newly established behavioral laboratory and is in the process of expanding its capabilities with state-of-the-art equipment, including a virtual reality headset. However, they are still in the process of recruiting participants to build their experimental database. In contrast, LEE is proud to maintain one of the largest participant databases in Europe, positioning us as a valuable partner in future collaborations.

A highlight of the visit was the extraordinary opportunity to meet and interact with one of the most renowned economists of our time, Daron Acemoglu. This interaction underscores the high level of discourse and potential for impactful partnerships that resulted from this networking visit.
