Distinguished Faculty Members from Babeș-Bolyai University Embark on Collaborative Venture with Laboratory of Experimental Economics
In November 2023, Angela-Maria Filip and Miruna Pochea, distinguished faculty members from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, visited the Laboratory of Experimental Economics (LEE). During their visit, they were warmly welcomed and given an informative tour of the laboratory. Additionally, they had the opportunity to engage with key figures, including the director, Vojtěch Kotrba, and the vice-dean, Helena Chytilova.
The purpose of their visit was integral to their broader plan of establishing an experimental laboratory at Babeș-Bolyai University, demonstrating a commitment to advancing research and academic excellence.
Angela-Maria Filip, a university lecturer with a Ph.D. in Economics specializing in Finance, brings a wealth of expertise in financial markets and investment behavior to the university. Her research interests align closely with the goals of the experimental laboratory.
Miruna Pochea, a professor renowned for her work in Financial Markets, Behavioral Finance, and Investment Behavior, supervises Ph.D. topics that explore various facets of financial markets. These include financial markets integration, financial literacy, investors’ herding behavior, and sentiment analysis of central banks’ communication.
